Thriller author, Mark Dawson, donating sales proceeds to new mom with cancer

Imagine that you are pregnant and just got diagnosed with cancer. If you have chemo, you could lose your baby. If you don’t, you could lose your life. That was one mother’s choice.

Best selling thriller writer Mark Dawson has written a novel with all proceeds going to help one mother’s fight to stay alive to see her newborn child grow up. http://www.fightforphoenix.com/

Thanks to all who check out Mark’s novel and help Emma Johns fight the good fight.

God Bless.

Free Rein Series: New Beginnings by Christine Meunier

I have just had the chance to read the Free Rein Series: New Beginnings novel by Christine Meunier.

What a delight!

New Beginnings is just that. It is the story of a young girl’s dream to learn to ride and hopefully, one day, own a horse. The author, Christine Meunier, writes about stable duties, lessons, life at a stable, and all around horse care, while involving the reader in young Jacqui King’s quest to make new friends at a new school and learn all she can about everything ‘horse’. Jacqui’s parents support their daughter’s dream as they work hard cleaning up a leased property in order to turn it into a fully functional boarding stable, with a lot of love, prayers, and help from their kids.

Christine Meunier is an Australian writer who writes books for children with a distinct Christian theme and a lovely sense of ‘good’ kids leading ‘good lives’.  http://freereinseries.com/

If you are North American like me, it will take some time to learn the Auzzie ‘lingo’ for boarding stable and horse trailers, but you’ll figure it out.

This novel is suitable for young readers, especially city girls who dream of nothing but horses.

One Frosty Christmas – Book Trailer

Just completed the book trailer for One Frosty Christmas. It was lots of work, but well worth it, and I had tonnes of fun doing it.

Enjoy!  One Frosty Christmas – Book Trailer

One Frosty Christmas has a new look!

Thanks to the winter wonderland that we’ve experienced on Vancouver Island in the past week or two, I was able to go out and have some fun in the snow with a couple of ponies and a trio of young musketeers at Flying Changes Riding School in Coombs, British Columbia. The result is this new cover for One Frosty Christmas and some precious moments in the snow with Jimmy, my equine model. Jimmy was quite good at posing for photos. You’ll have a chance to see more once I have completed the book trailer.

Valentino – coming soon in 2017

I had hoped to have Valentino, the last book in the Holiday Series, ready for this Valentine’s day, but completing one new script and revising a couple of older ones had to come first as the scripts are already optioned.

It’s so exciting to be back writing again, to create new characters, and new adventures.

I found this picture on a photo listing site, Shutterstock, and think that I will purchase it for the cover. I do not own the rights so please respect the copyright; however, it gives you a good idea about what Valentino will be about.
