Surviving the storms

Almost everyone has seen pictures and videos of the floods in British Columbia. I am lucky I live on Vancouver Island on higher ground. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost their livelihood, homes & livestock. It is truly heartbreaking. The courage of those helping evacuate people and animals is a mighty thing to behold.

On lighter note after being ‘horseless’ for eight years since the passing of Sally, my Fjord mare, I am ready to find a new light trail riding and therapy buddy. I am looking at a couple of rescues. We will see what Christmas and the New Year brings. Peace and wellness to all.

In loving memory – my companion and inspiration… my Sally.
